Inspired by Fabric

Well, it's no secret that I am not a seamstress! When our prompt for today was to be inspired by fabric I pulled my very small collection out to see what I could see. I found this patchwork material from a tie my mom made for Mason, and thought, "well, I'll let this do the work for me!" I combined it with another challenge, which was to fold our paper so it wasn't flat. I have always loved these little paper rosettes, so I made an itty bitty one for the star. I love the look of this and am instantly craving a trip to the fabric store!

Another prompt: stack your scraps. This is really not my style, but I am in love with the outcome and how quick and easy it was to do. It was making me wish my scrap pile was bigger so I could do a layout with every color of scraps! I'm definately going to be doing this again.
